Our partnership with the SuitCase Clinic and Project Lux has allowed our certified enrollment counselors to enroll and provide help with health insurance to primarily the unhoused population. The SuitCase Clinic is a student-run clinic that is open to the public Tuesday evenings and has multiple info-desks, including Project Lux’s health insurance booth. This partnership has allowed us to pursue our mission of increasing the accessibility to health insurance to the Berkeley unhoused community. Our certified enrollment counselors help those in need by providing access to an electronic device to enroll in CoveredCA or Medi-Cal and help with whatever healthcare and health insurance questions. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the SuitCase Clinic and expanding our reach.
